Adam Schwartz
Founder and CEO
Adam founded Articulate in 2002 with a vision to make it easier for the world to learn.
Under Adam's direction, Articulate has grown from a groundbreaking idea into an award-winning company that has been recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing new technology companies in North America. Adam has more than 20 years of experience in the e-learning industry.
Before founding Articulate, Adam was General Manager for a division of Knowledge Universe, a $1.75 billion learning and education organization founded by Michael Milken and Larry Ellison.
Mike Olivieri
Chief Technology Officer
Mike directs our technical strategy and leads product development.
Since joining Articulate in 2009 as the first in-house web engineering expert, Mike has transformed the engineering organization. He's grown the team sixfold, driving modern engineering processes and technology. He's also helped Articulate successfully transition into a SaaS company with continuous product releases.
Mike has been leading engineering teams for almost two decades. Before joining Articulate, he helped advance architecture and design at various organizations, including Boston Scientific.
Lucy Suros
President
Lucy drives company strategy and execution in partnership with CEO Adam Schwartz.
She leads the successful Articulate SaaS business, including world-class marketing, customer success, and content operations that she's built from the ground up.
In the two decades before joining Articulate, Lucy held various marketing leadership roles and worked with companies like Apple, Adobe, and PayPal.
Mark Schwartz
EVP of Sales
Mark leads Articulate's global sales team.
Previously, Mark held sales and management roles at Dell, Inc., for 10 years. In his last position with Dell, he had P&L responsibility for a geographic sales organization with annual sales of more than $125 million.
Mark also spent a decade at IBM, where he developed and executed a market support plan for a line of business software.
Tom Kuhlmann
Chief Learning Architect
Tom develops learning strategies and programs for Articulate 360 Training.
Tom is best known as the author of The Rapid E-Learning Blog, which provides practical, real-world tips for e-learning success to more than 100,000 e-learning developers.
Tom has over 20 years of experience in the training industry, developing hundreds of hours of e-learning and managing e-learning projects at Capital One, Washington Mutual, and Weyerhaeuser.
Brian Gil
SVP of Operations
Brian leads Articulate's day-to-day operations and partners with marketing and sales teams to drive customer success.
In the last 15 years, Brian has held leadership roles in product management at Jive Software, direct sales at Palm, Inc., and product management at Yahoo.
At Yahoo, he led product negotiations and integration with strategic telecom partners totaling more than $150 million in revenue.
Michelle Slagle
SVP of Finance
Michelle manages finances at Articulate, driving responsible stewardship of revenue, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax.
Michelle joined Articulate in 2015 to build and scale our finance team, implementing financial systems and processes critical to supporting our transition to a SaaS business.
Michelle has built finance and revenue operations teams for more than 30 years for many startup, nonprofit, and global tech companies, including CareerBuilder, Discovery Channel, and Sterling Software.
Megan Cleveland
SVP of Marketing
Megan leads marketing at Articulate.
She joined in 2015 to help scale our digital marketing, product marketing, and content marketing operations for our emerging SaaS business. Since then, she’s helped build our customer success program and grow revenue across all channels.
Before Articulate, Megan spent nearly 15 years in various product marketing, sales enablement, channel marketing, and sales roles at industry-leading tech companies such as Marketo and Salesforce.
Romaine Buck
VP of Customer Success
Romaine leads customer success at Articulate.
She joined our team in 2020 to scale our post-sales customer experience across the entire customer life cycle—from onboarding and engagement to renewal and expansion.
Romaine comes to Articulate with nearly 20 years' experience in sales, account management, and customer success. Her background spans various software industries, including HR, sales enablement, and social media management. Most recently, Romaine led enterprise and midmarket customer success teams in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America at LinkedIn and Sprout Social.
Angela Kiniry
VP of People
Angela leads everything people at Articulate.
Angela joined our team in 2015 as the first in-house people expert, building both systems and our team to support the growth of Articulate’s most important asset: our employees.
Angela has more than 25 years of human resources and leadership experience, working with startups to Fortune 1000 organizations.
