What are course themes?

In e-learning, course themes are pre-built, designed presentation layers that can change the look and feel of your course. Sometimes referred to as design themes, they help your course feel more cohesive visually, and may include elements like colors, fonts, text styles, layout elements, page templates, and other features.

Example: Our chosen course theme allowed us to quickly and easily create visually appealing lessons that felt true to the branding of our online store.

Why should an online course site or tool offer course themes?

Using themes allows course creators to quickly create visually polished and cohesive lessons. This can allow them to dedicate more time to the content of their course rather than the way it is presented. It can also allow course creators to easily customize certain elements of their design to match important branding elements.
