What is image generation?

Image generation is a process within generative AI that produces visual content. Typically, an AI image generator tool will use algorithms to analyze an existing set of images, identify patterns within them, and produce new images based on those patterns. 

To produce AI-generated images, users input specific text prompts into the software. This may include a brief description of what the image should represent. Depending on the complexity of the image generation tool, users may also be able to select an image style and modify the dimensions and other elements of the image.

Example: I generate AI images for my blog so I don’t have to take photographs myself. With the right prompts, I find I can create high-quality images that fit the style of my website.
