What is Storyline?

Storyline is Articulate’s e-learning authoring tool for creating highly customized, interactive courses. It is integrated with Articulate’s AI Assistant, enabling up to 9 times faster course creation. With Storyline, course creators can add interactivity to slides in seconds and use features like simulations, screencasts, videos, and audio to create immersive, engaging learning experiences

Example: We used Storyline to create a highly customized, interactive e-learning game based on our learning objectives.

Storyline also offers robust ways to assess learners’ knowledge. For example, course authors can choose from 25 different question types when building an assessment, and can build and incorporate branching scenarios that allow learners to practice their skills in a low-risk environment. 

With access to over 13 million assets within Articulate’s content library, plus the ability to generate custom images with AI Assistant, Storyline makes it easy to build visually compelling, interactive content.

How can I deliver Storyline content to my learners? 

To distribute Storyline courses to your learners, you can publish Tin Can API 1.0‑, SCORM‑, and AICC-compliant content to your learning management system (LMS). You can also publish Storyline courses to Reach, Articulate’s integrated, frictionless LMS.
