Articulate 360: Aero Is Required in Windows 7 with High-DPI Monitors

Article Last Updated

For Storyline 360, Studio 360, Replay 360, and Peek 360 to work properly on Windows 7 computers with high-resolution monitors, you must use an Aero-enabled system theme.

If Aero is disabled on Windows 7 when you’re using a DPI setting higher than 100%, you may experience erratic behavior in your Articulate 360 desktop-authoring apps, such as:

  • The ribbon may be the wrong size in Storyline 360, Studio 360, and Replay 360.
  • Annotations might not display while you’re working in Presenter 360.
  • Text may be misplaced in your published output.

How to Enable Aero in Windows 7

Right-click your desktop and choose Personalize from the context menu, then select an Aero theme from the themes gallery. That’s it!

Aero must be enabled in Windows 7 when you're using a DPI setting over 100%.
