What is Content Library 360?

Content Library 360 is a collection of professionally-designed slide templates and relatable characters as well as 17+ million stock assets that dramatically speeds up your course development and wows your audience. We're constantly adding new assets to the library to inspire you and keep your designs fresh.

Are Content Library 360 images, icons, and videos royalty free?

Yes. Content Library 360 has 17+ million photos, illustrations, icons, and videos from several sources that you can access right from Storyline 360. And you can choose Content Library 360 photos and illustrations for your Rise 360 courses with one click. They're all royalty free for commercial and non-commercial use—no attribution required.

Who provides Content Library 360 assets?

The Content Library 360 collection comprises several asset libraries curated and maintained by these third-party providers: Noun Project, Pexels, Pixabay, and Unsplash.

Can I search for Content Library 360 media in different languages?

You can't specify a language when searching for media, but non-English search terms will often give you good results. For example, enfants will return images and videos of children. If you don't find what you're looking for, try using the English equivalent for more results.

Will Content Library 360 templates work with any slide size?

For the best results, we recommend using a standard 4:3 or widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. However, slide templates will automatically adjust to fit custom slide sizes. In most cases, you won't need to make any changes after importing a template, but if your slide size is unusual—for example, portrait oriented or extremely widescreen—you might need to resize some objects to fit properly.

Can I use Content Library 360 assets outside of Articulate e-learning courses?

You may edit and use Content Library 360 assets any way you like in the courses you build with Articulate 360 apps, such as Storyline 360. However, you can't use assets outside of Articulate 360 apps. For example, their use is prohibited in product brochures or websites. See section 2.11 in our terms of service.

Which Content Library 360 assets are included in the free trial?

You have access to a subset of Content Library 360 templates and characters during the free trial. You can:

• Build beautiful Storyline and Studio courses in no time with the Velocity template set, including 42 prebuilt slides. (Get access to all of our professionally designed slide templates when you subscribe to Articulate 360.)
• Make courses relatable with several photographic and illustrated characters with hundreds of combinations of expressions and poses in a variety of industries and professions: Al, Andrew, Arthur, Atsumi, Brandon, Laura, Lily, Marilyn. (Get access to all the characters in our ever-growing library when you subscribe to Articulate 360.)
• Find the perfect pictures, icons, and videos for your courses from 17+ million royalty-free assets.

Can I purchase individual character packs from Content Library 360?

Character packs can't be purchased individually. When you subscribe to Articulate 360, you have full access to all course assets in our ever-growing Content Library 360.

Many of the characters in Content Library 360 seem Westernized. Do you have culture-specific characters?

We're always adding new characters to Content Library 360. Our goal is to add more culture-specific characters over time.

If I have character packs installed for Storyline 1, Storyline 2, or Studio '13, will those characters work with Storyline 360 or Studio 360?

When you install Storyline 360 or Studio 360, Content Library 360 versions of characters you've already installed will automatically download to your computer.

Can I use assets from Content Library 360 with perpetual versions of Storyline and Studio?

Content Library 360 assets work exclusively with Storyline 360 and Studio 360.

Where are Content Library 360 assets stored on my computer?

When you use Content Library 360 assets in your e-learning courses, they're downloaded and stored in this location on your local computer: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Articulate

What happens to assets I downloaded from Content Library 360 when my Articulate 360 free trial or subscription expires?

Downloaded assets will remain on your computer when your trial or subscription expires, but you won't be able to use them since Storyline 360 and Studio 360 won't work.

However, if you later renew your subscription, you can continue using Storyline 360, Studio 360, and the Content Library 360 assets you previously downloaded.

(Templates and characters from Content Library 360 won't work with perpetual versions of Storyline or Studio.)
