Slack is used by thousands to connect people and help them get more done. When you pair Slack with Reach 360, you can make your organization even more effective!

How to Connect Slack and Reach 360

Please note, during this beta period, a not approved by Slack message appears at the top of the directory page. This app has been thoroughly tested by Articulate and is working its way through the Slack approval process.

From your profile, click the Add to Slack button to start pairing your Reach 360 and Slack accounts. Log in to your Slack account if prompted, then click Allow to finish the pairing process. Your Slack workspace owner must have already installed the Reach 360 app for your Slack account.

For Slack workspace owners, install the Reach 360 application from the Slack App Directory. Once installed, use the /reach360 login command in Slack and follow the prompts.

Note: If your account uses a custom domain, you'll need to add the address of your domain to use the command in Slack: /reach360 login

Reach 360 Functionality Within Slack

With Reach 360 connected, when you paste a course or learning path link into Slack, you can click the Yes button to display a rich preview of that content. The preview includes the course name, cover image, author, publishing date, number of lessons, and duration. This works for any content visible to you or in your course library. Rich previews are not available for accounts using custom domains.

Note: Once you unfurl a link, the rich preview is visible to anyone in the Slack channel where you shared it, even if they don't have access to the course.

You'll also receive direct messages in Slack when Reach 360 sends you notifications about:

  • Course/learning path enrollment
  • Course due/past due
  • Successful login to Reach 360 from Slack
