Storyline 360: SCORM 1.2 Course Is Never Completed in Saba LMS

Storyline 360 SCORM 1.2 courses may never be marked completed or passed in a Saba LMS. Saba uses cmi.core.exit differently than most other LMSs, which can prevent content from registering completion.

The good news is we created a custom SCORM driver for Saba users so your courses will work as expected. Just replace one of your program files. Here's how:

  1. Download this zip file to your computer and fully extract it.
  2. Go to the following folder on your computer, depending on your version of Windows:
    • 32-bit: C:\Program Files\Articulate\360\Storyline\Content\lms
    • 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Articulate\360\Storyline\Content\lms
  3. Rename the SCORMFunctions.js file to SCORMFunctions.js.bak (for backup purposes).
  4. Then place the new SCORMFunctions.js file from step 1 into the folder in step 2.

That's it! Now, each time you publish a Storyline 360 course, it'll automatically have the custom SCORM driver for your Saba LMS.
