If your question slides include audio or video, you may find that the audio/video plays during quiz review.
By default, question slides will resume where they left off when they're revisited. If you submit an answer before the slide has completed, media on the slide will resume playing where it left off during quiz review.
If you want to prevent media from playing during quiz review, use a variable and a Pause media trigger. Here’s how:
- Add a True/False variable to your project to track whether the user is in review mode or not. Set its initial value to False. For the sake of this example, we'll call the variable ReviewMode.
- Add a trigger to the Review Quiz button on your result slide that changes the value of the ReviewMode variable to True.
- Move the trigger up so it's the first trigger listed for the Review Quiz button in the Triggers panel.
- Add a slide trigger to each of your question slides to Pause Media when the Timeline Starts if the ReviewMode variable is True. (Click here to learn more about adding conditions to triggers.)
