Disappear exit animation does not work immediately after a motion path animation

This article applies to:

If you add a Disappear exit animation to an object in PowerPoint and set it to start immediately after a motion path animation that is applied to the same object, you may find that the motion path works as expected but the Disappear exit animation does not work when published with Presenter '09.

This is a known issue.  You can correct it using any one of the following ways:

  • Change the Disappear exit animation so that it starts On Click rather than After Previous.  Then go to Articulate > Sync Animations to set the animation timings.
  • In the Animation Pane, right-click the Disappear exit animation, and select Timing.  Then add a Delay of one-tenth of a second (.1), and click OK.
  • Change the Disappear exit animation to a different exit animation, such as Fade.
