Display a narration transcript in the sidebar of a presentation

You can display a narration transcript or any supplemental text in the sidebar of your Articulate Presenter '09 presentation by adding your text to the notes pane in PowerPoint and enabling the Notes tab in your player template.  Here's how:

  1. Enter the appropriate text (narration transcript, definitions, instructions, etc.) in the notes pane for each slide in your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Then navigate to Articulate > Player Templates.
  3. Select the Layout tab.
  4. Select the check box for Standard view to enable this view in your published presentation.
  5. Select the Navigation tab.
  6. Select the check box for Notes tab.
  7. Click the Close button, and save the changes to your player template when prompted.
  8. Publish your presentation.
