This help topic will cover all options and features available while working with Glossary interactions.

To create a Glossary interaction:

  1. Create a new interaction using one of the three available methods.
  2. Select Glossary from the left-hand list of interaction types.
  3. Click OK to start creating your interaction or Cancel to cancel creation of a new interaction.

The following toolbar options are available while working with an Glossary interaction:

  • Glossary Entries
    • Add Entry: This will add a new entry to this Glossary interaction. The new entry will be automatically alphabetized based on the Term field, which you can edit.
    • Delete Entry: This will delete the currently selected entry.
  • Intro / Summary: Learn more in Using the Toolbar.
  • Tools: Learn more in Using the Toolbar.
  • Publish: Learn more in Publishing Interactions.

The following additional features are available while working with an Glossary interaction:

  • Interaction Title: This is the interaction title for this project. This will display as the main interaction title in the published output. To change the title font, click the Interaction Properties button in the toolbar and select the Colors and Effects tab. The Title Font setting will determine the font type used.
  • Glossary Entries: This displays a list of all entries in your interaction. Click the title of an entry to edit or delete it.
  • Term: This is the term for the entry, typically a word or a phrase. Glossary entries will be automatically alphabetized based on this field.
  • Definition: This is the area where you define the term for the current entry. To format this text, use the wide variety of options available in the formatting toolbars directly above the text input field. Learn more in Formatting Text.
  • Audio: Use the Audio pane to record, import, or edit audio for each question of your interaction. Learn more in Adding Audio.
  • Media: Use the Media pane to add a video or image to each question of your interaction. Learn more in Adding Media.
