Here's how the Select All keyboard shortcut, CTRL+A, works in Storyline:

Story View

When you're in Story View, you must first select a scene or a slide, and then:

  • Press CTRL+A once to select all the slides in that scene.
  • Press CTRL+A a second time to select all the slide in the entire course.

Normal View

In Normal View, use the CTRL+A keyboard shortcut to either select all the objects on a particular slide or all the slides in the active scene. Here's how to perform each of these functions:

  • To select all the objects on a particular slide, navigate to the slide, click anywhere in the slide workspace, and then press CTRL+A.
  • To select all the slides in the active scene, click any of the slide thumbnails in the left navigation pane, and then press CTRL+A.
