Quizmaker '13: How to Export Audio

Quizmaker '13 supports audio in the following quiz components:

  • Question slides
  • Feedback prompts
  • Result slides

Here's how to export a copy of your audio from each component:

Exporting audio from question slides

  1. Open your quiz in Quizmaker.
  2. Double-click the question from which you want to export audio.
  3. If you're not already in Slide View, click the Slide View button in the Question panel on the right side of the screen. (Tip: Blank slides are always in Slide View.)
  4. Right-click the speaker icon at the lower left corner of the slide for the audio clip you want to export, and choose Export Sound.
  5. Use the Save as type drop-down to select WAV, MP3, or Both WAV and MP3.
  6. Browse to a location, and click Save.

Exporting audio from feedback prompts

  1. Open your quiz in Quizmaker.
  2. Double-click the question from which you want to export audio.
  3. If you're not already in Slide View, click the Slide View button in the Question panel on the right side of the screen
  4. Select the feedback layer in the lower right corner that has the audio clip you want to export (Correct, Incorrect, Thank You, etc.).
  5. Right-click the speaker icon at the lower left corner of the slide for the audio clip you want to export, and choose Export Sound.
  6. Use the Save as type drop-down to select WAV, MP3, or Both WAV and MP3.
  7. Browse to a location, and click Save.

Exporting audio from result slides

  1. Open your quiz in Quizmaker.
  2. Click Edit Result on the ribbon.
  3. Select the feedback layer in the lower right corner that has the audio clip you want to export. (Survey result slides have only a base layer.)
  4. Right-click the speaker icon at the lower left corner of the slide for the audio clip you want to export, and choose Export Sound.
  5. Use the Save as type drop-down to select WAV, MP3, or Both WAV and MP3.
  6. Browse to a location, and click Save.
