Alternate solution

If you don't want to use ClearType in your Windows operating system, you can add a space before each slide title in your presentation to provide padding in the Articulate sidebar. Here's how:

With slide numbers

  1. Make a copy of the title placeholder on each slide in your presentation.
  2. Move the original title placeholder off the slide, so it doesn't appear in the published presentation.
  3. Position the copy of the title placeholder as desired on the slide.
  4. Edit the original title placeholder for each slide to add a space followed by the slide number in front of the title text.
  5. Navigate to Articulate > Player Templates.
  6. Select the Other tab from the left navigation pane.
  7. Deselect the "Display slide numbers in navigation tabs" check box.
  8. Click the Close button, and save your changes when prompted.
  9. Publish your presentation.

Without slide numbers

  1. Edit the title placeholder on each slide to add a space before the title text.
  2. Navigate to Articulate > Player Templates.
  3. Select the Other tab from the left navigation pane.
  4. Deselect the "Display slide numbers in navigation tabs" check box.
  5. Click the Close button, and save your changes when prompted.
  6. Publish your presentation.
