Nothing Happens When You Click the Tutorials on the Start Screen

The tutorials and free resources on the start screens of your Articulate apps should launch in your default web browser. If nothing happens when you click them, you'll need to set your default browser in Microsoft Windows. Follow the steps below for your version of Windows.

Windows 10

  1. Click the Start button and choose Settings.
  2. When the Settings window opens, click System.
  3. Select Default apps on the left edge of the window.
  4. In the details pane on the right side of the window, set your default Web browser.
  5. Close the Settings window.

Windows 8

  1. Press Windows Key+X on your keyboard to display the Tools Menu, then select Control Panel. Or, right-click the lower left corner of your monitor to display the Tools Menu, then select Control Panel.
  2. Type default in the search field in the upper right corner of the control panel, then click Set your default programs in the search results.
  3. Select your web browser in the list of programs on the left side of the screen.
  4. Click Set this program as default at the bottom of the screen, then click OK.
  5. Close the control panel.

Windows 7 or Windows Vista

  1. Click the Start button and choose Control Panel.
  2. Type default in the search field in the upper right corner of the control panel, then click Set your default programs in the search results.
  3. Select your web browser in the list of programs on the left side of the screen.
  4. Click Set this program as default at the bottom of the screen, then click OK.
  5. Close the control panel.
