PowerPoint shapes with a radial gradient do not appear when published

If you include PowerPoint shapes in your Presenter '09 presentation that have a radial gradient applied, you may find that they do not appear in your published output.

This is a known issue.  You can correct it in one of the following ways:

  • Remove the radial gradient.
  • Select a different gradient type.
  • Group the affected shape(s) with another shape that has No fill and No line color (which is essentially an invisible object).
  • Save the shape as an image (right-click the shape, and select Save as Picture).  Delete the shape in PowerPoint, and then insert the saved image in its place.
