Presentation advances too quickly if playlist includes an audio file over 8:53

Article Last Updated

This article applies to:

If your playlist includes an audio file that is longer than 8 minutes and 53 seconds, you may find that your presentation advances too quickly or skips slides.  This is because the maximum duration for a Flash file is 8 minutes and 53 seconds when using 30 frames per second (which is the default setting for Articulate software).

You can correct this issue in either of the following ways:

  • Reduce the length of the audio file so that it is less than 8 minutes and 53 seconds.
  • Reduce the frames per second setting in Presentation Options.
