When enabling the prompt to resume feature in Articulate Presenter, Quizmaker or Engage, this information is stored in a Flash Shared Object, not a browser cookie. The Flash Shared Object is not specific to each browser and is why you will be prompted to resume Articulate content when the same system uses different browsers to view this content.
When publishing for web with the Articulate Studio '09, it's possible some end users will not be prompted to resume. This may be due to viewing a large presentation where you exceed the default 100 KB limit in your Flash Player's Local Storage settings. You can modify this setting to allow an unlimited amount of data to be stored locally. This will typically allow you to now resume. Here's how:
You should see settings that look like the following image:
Launch the Articulate content in the browser of your choice.
Right-click the presentation and select Settings.
Select the folder icon.
Drag the slider all the way to the right and restart your web browser.
