Presenter '13: Recommended Workflow for Collaborative Network Environments

Article Last Updated

This article applies to:

When working on a Presenter '13 course in a collaborative environment with other developers, use the following workflow to avoid file corruption, loss of resources, and other erratic behavior that can occur due to network latency:

  1. After creating, editing, or publishing a presentation on your local hard drive, use the Send to Articulate Presenter Package feature to make an exact copy of your project (including Engage interactions and Quizmaker quizzes). This generates a zip file.
  2. Copy the zip file to your network drive for storage and sharing.
  3. When you need to edit or publish the presentation again, copy the zip file to your local hard drive and extract it.
  4. Then edit or publish.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.
