When you attempt to record narration, sync animations, or add annotations in Presenter '09, you may find that some of the screen area is not selectable, that the slide appears to be doubled, or that the slide is overlapping itself.

This issue was corrected in Update 5.  You can download the latest version from your product confirmation email, or you can download it here.

If the issue persists after updating your software, you may be experiencing an issue with Hardware Graphics Acceleration in PowerPoint.  Here's how you can disable it:

  2. Select the Advanced tab on the left side of the window.
  3. Under the Display section, mark the check box to "Disable hardware graphics acceleration".
  4. Click OK.

PowerPoint 2007

  1. Go to Slide Show > Set Up Slide Show.
  2. Uncheck the box to "Use hardware graphics acceleration".
  3. Click OK.
