UI_AdminRequiredNotice Error After Upgrading to Windows 8.1

When you upgrade to Windows 8.1 and launch Articulate Video Encoder '09, you'll see the following error message:

This is a known issue. Here's how to correct it:

1. Close Video Encoder. 
2. Go to the Start menu, and search for Articulate Video Encoder.
3. Right-click Articulate Video Encoder and select Run as administrator. 
4. You may be prompted by User Account Control with the following message: "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" Program name: Articulate Video Encoder. Click Yes. 
5. Video Encoder will launch and prompt you to activate your software.
