Storyline: Recording Your Screen with Multiple Monitors

Storyline doesn't support multi-monitor recording, but you can record one screen at a time. We recommend the following settings when using more than one display device:
Set the Display Scaling to 100%
Display scaling adjusts the size of text, icons, and apps on your screen. Display scaling of more than 100% makes them larger. When recording your screen with multiple monitors, it's best to set this to 100% to avoid issues. You can change it back to your original settings after recording. Here's how to modify display scaling.
Windows 11
- Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
- Take note of the display device number that's selected at the top of the page. The Identify button lets you know the assigned number for each display.
- Under Scale & layout, select 100% from the Scale drop-down list.
- Do the same for other display devices.
Windows 10
- Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
- Take note of the display device number that's selected at the top of the page. The Identify button lets you know the assigned number for each display.
- Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the Change the size of text, apps, and other items drop-down list.
- Do the same for other display devices.
Use the Same Screen Resolution
Screen resolution adjusts the sharpness of images and texts on the screen by controlling the number of pixels displayed. Higher resolutions show objects in more detail. Decide on a screen resolution for your recording, then set this value for all monitors. You can check out this article for tips on recording high-resolution screencasts. Then follow these steps to modify your screen resolution.
