Following Microsoft's lead, we're ending support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) in 2022. This change applies to all Articulate products and services. And since the publish-to-CD option in Storyline and Studio relies on IE11, we're removing this publishing feature from our apps. Find all the details below.
Why We're Making This Change
Microsoft stopped supporting IE11 in its Microsoft 365 apps as of August 17, 2021 and will stop supporting IE11 on Windows 10 on June 15, 2022.
Timeline of Events
To help you plan ahead, here's how this change will affect your Articulate products and services.
Beginning January 1, 2022, you won't be able to use IE11 to view:
After installing the February 2022 update for Storyline 360, you won't be able to view courses with 360° images in IE11. The latest enhancements for 360° images use technologies that aren't supported in IE11.
Beginning July 1, 2022, you won't be able to view courses published from the latest versions of Storyline 360, Studio 360, or Rise 360 in IE11. We'll also remove the publish-to-CD option from Storyline 360 and Studio 360.
Beginning November 1, 2022, you won't be able to view courses published from the latest versions of Storyline 3 in IE11, and we'll remove the publish-to-CD option.
