Storyline 2 DPI Support

This article applies to:
Storyline 2 requires Microsoft Windows to use 96 DPI (dots per inch). If Windows is using a different DPI setting, you may experience erratic behavior, such as:
- Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.
- Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.
- Zoomed images don't work as expected.
- Font sizes are incorrect after using the translation features.
Here's how to switch to 96 DPI:
Windows 10
- Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
- Click the Display tab in the upper left corner of the window that appears.
- Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the drop-down list.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
Windows 8.1
- Right-click your desktop and select Personalize.
- Click Display in the lower left corner of the window that appears.
- Drag the slider to Smaller.
- Click Apply.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
Windows 8
- Right-click your desktop and select Personalize.
- Click Display in the lower left corner of the window that appears.
- Select the 100% radio button.
- Click Apply.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
Windows 7
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display.
- From the left navigation pane, select Set custom text size (DPI).
- From the Scale to this percentage of normal size drop-down list, select 100%.
- Click OK.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
Windows Vista
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization.
- Select Adjust font size (DPI) from the left navigation pane.
- Change DPI Scaling to Default scale (96 DPI) - fit more information.
- Click OK.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
