Quizmaker '09: Numeric Question with a Range of Possible Answers Is Scored as Correct Even When Learners Get It Wrong

If you have a Numeric question in your Quizmaker '09 quiz with a range of acceptable answers (Value is Between ... and ...), you may find that learners' answers are always marked correct if they include a comma or other non-numeric characters.

This is a known issue. You can avoid it by using a Fill in the Blank question and including possible answers with and without commas or other symbols.

Another workaround for this issue is to instruct learners to refrain from using commas or other non-numeric characters. You might consider adding a text box with simple instructions as shown below.
