In rare situations, you may encounter the following error message when attempting to upgrade a presentation to Articulate Presenter '13:

Your Articulate Presenter project cannot be upgraded to the new Articulate Presenter '13 file format.

Only Articulate Presenter '09 Projects Can Be Upgraded

Projects created in Articulate Presenter 5 or earlier cannot be upgraded to Presenter '13. However, you can still use the original PowerPoint presentation with Presenter '13. Just move the PowerPoint file to a new folder by itself. This disconnects the PowerPoint file from its original Presenter resources. When you open it with Presenter '13, it'll be treated as a new Presenter project (rather than being upgraded).

If Your Project Was Created in Presenter '09 but It Still Won't Upgrade...

If your project was originally created in Presenter '09 but it still won't upgrade to Presenter '13, create an Articulate Package of the project files, and upload the resulting zip file to us. We'll investigate it and follow-up with you right away.
