Storyline: Text-Entry Box Is Misplaced or Wrong Size in Screen Recording

When you record a screencast in Storyline and insert it into your course as try-mode steps or test-mode steps, data-entry fields might be misplaced or the wrong size.
The size and location of interactive objects depend on the data communicated by the application you're recording. And some apps are better than others at sharing this information. As a result, you might need to adjust text-entry boxes after you've inserted your screen recording into your course.
Tip: If you're recording a web browser, we recommend using Firefox. It provides the best data. Google Chrome doesn't do a good job of communicating data to Storyline. See this article for more information.
