Curious to know how your learners answer individual questions on quizzes? When you publish your Storyline course for LMS, you have access to a number of question details. Select the standards from the list below to see what each offers.

cmi5

Publishing to cmi5 is exclusive to Storyline 360.

Before you dive deep into the reporting data, keep in mind that SCORM Cloud offers two options for viewing cmi5 quiz data details: xAPI and SCORM 2004 generated statements, as described below.

xAPI Statement Format

  • id: An internationalized resource identifier (IRI) with a unique string of characters assigned by Storyline that your LMS uses to identify activities and interactions in a course.
  • interactionType: The type of question (True/False, Multiple Choice, Multiple Response, etc).
  • timestamp: When the learner answered the question. This time measurement is in the ISO 8601 format required by the xAPI specification.
  • success: Whether the learner answered the question correctly or not.
  • response: An IRI with a unique string of characters assigned by Storyline that your LMS uses to determine how the learner answered the question.
  • weighting: Storyline doesn't use this item. It'll always be 1.
  • duration: How long it took the learner to answer the question. This time measurement is in the ISO 8601 format required by the xAPI specification.
  • description: The question text.

SCORM 2004 Format
