Articulate Mobile Player App Isn’t Working on Android OS 8 or 9

Article Last Updated

Storyline and Studio courses aren’t working in the Articulate Mobile Player (AMP) on Android OS 8 and 9 devices. You’ll see a black screen when you open a course.

We’re working on an update for AMP to fix the problem. It’ll be available soon. We’ll update the app store and this article as soon as it’s ready. Stay tuned!

If you’re authoring courses in Storyline 360, Studio 360, Storyline 3, or Storyline 2, you can view HTML5 versions of your courses on Android OS 8 and 9 devices without using AMP. Give learners a link to the HTML5 launch file in your published output and instruct them to open it in Google Chrome. For example, in a Storyline course, link to the story_html5.html file rather than the default story.html file. Here’s the HTML5 launch file for each authoring app.
